Ideell kultur förening för kväver och samer (IKFKOS) is a non-profit cultural association. It is a collaborative initiative launched by Teatermaskinen and Vision Forum. In the autumn of 2023, we became an independent organisation. We have our headquarters in Stockholm. The aim of the association is to strengthen and develop the culture, cultural heritage, and languages of the Sámi and Kven national minorities. We also work to foster greater contact between Sámi and Kven communities and other Indigenous peoples. We have organised events in Sweden, the Nordic countries, Europe, The Caribbean, Central and South America. We have in recent years received funding from The Swedish Arts Council (Kulturrådet) and Kulturbryggan.
